Rising Star Games has secured PAL publishing rights to Marvelous Entertainment’s survival horror game Deadly Premonition.
Developed by Access Games and already released in Japan and the US, the third-person title puts players in the role of an FBI agent “in charge of investigating the brutal killing of a local beauty and solving the mystery of the Red Seed Murders”.
Due to release on Xbox 360 for £24.99 this autumn, the game has split reviewers, with some praising its entertaining story and others criticising its production values.
"Having seen how Deadly Premonition split reviewers’ opinions in America, gamers are itching to get their hands on it to judge it for themselves," said Rising Star managing director Martin Defries. “We have high hopes for what can only be described as the most distinctive survival horror game that has ever been released – it’s going to be interesting to see how the game is received over here. It’s a cult classic in the making."
