UK gaming accessory company Gioteck wants you to design the ultimate gaming peripheral, and is offering participants the chance to win a “dream job” in the game industry that could be worth up to £500,000 if your design is a success.
The winner of the Gioteck Design Challenge 2013 will be given a 12-month apprenticeship at the company, and travel to Hong Kong and China to see their design become a reality.
To enter, visit the official website – you have until March 15 to submit your design. Entries will be whittled down to shortlist of 12, which will be pitched Dragon’s Den-style to a panel of industry judges.
Andy Green, creative director at Gioteck, says: “We believe the next pioneering idea will come from a gamer and we are looking for a unique idea that pushes the boundaries of what is considered achievable in the current market.”
