Konami and Buena Vista Games today announced that they will collaborate on a series of Disney-branded Dance Dance Revolution games. Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix, a Plug’N’Play product, is the first fruit of this collaboration, and will ship this fall. The game's Plug’N’Play unit will plug directly into a television, and it will include a custom Disney dance pad. Dance remixes of Disney themes such as “It’s a Small World,” “Zip-A Dee-Doo-Dah,” and “Mickey Mouse March” fuel the gameplay, which will have multiple difficulty levels to suit a variety of ages and skill levels. Konami is partnering with Majesco Entertainment, which makes the Frogger and Konami Arcade Advanced Plug'N'Play products, to develop Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix. “This is a powerful synergy that leverages Konami’s highly popular Dance Dance Revolution franchise and Disney’s phenomenal entertainment properties that are beloved around the world,” said Catherine Fowler, Konami’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “With its dynamic gameplay that invites the whole family to get involved and a recognizable cast of Disney characters, Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix is the ideal product to kick off a series of collaborative games that everyone will enjoy.”
