Dragon Quest IX has sold more than three million copies, according to Famitsu publisher Enterbrain.
The DS RPG recorded 3.2 million sales in Japan between launching on July 11 and July 26, making it the fastest-selling game for Nintendo’s handheld, reports Agence France Presse.
Earlier this month, weekly Japanese DSi sales more than doubled on the back of the game’s release as the title sold 2.3 million copies in just two days.
