Dragon Quest VI Storms Japanese Software Chart

Nintendo DS remake shifts over 900,000 to debut atop the weekly software chart, which featured five new entries in the top ten.

Square Enix’s Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest VI: Realms Of Reverie sold over 900,000 units during the week ended January 31 to debut atop the Japanese software chart.

Sega RPG Resonance Of Fate for PS3 entered in second place with 118,000 copies sold, while the Xbox 360 version took eighth place.

Two other new titles cracked the top ten - Namco Bandai RPG Ar Tonelico III for PS3 entered at number four with 82,000 copies sold, while Sony’s 256 player online shooter MAG placed tenth with 19,000 sales.
