Keita Takahashi is working on a new project with San Francisco-based indie studio Funomena, it was announced today.
There are few details on the new game as yet but it will be based around the idea of blocks coming to life, and was dreamt up by Takahashi when playing with his two year old son.
Funomena co-founders Robin Hunicke and Martin Middleton have each previously worked on Thatgamecompany’s Journey, as executive producer and programmer respectively. Hunicke revealed the partnership with Takahashi at Horizon today, E3 2013’s indie conference. The event also brought us news of Fez 2 and new footage from Capy’s Xbox One title, Below.
