E3 2013: Xbox 360 gets slimmer model, new Xbox Live incentives – and World Of Tanks

Xbox 360 is getting a slimmer model, new Xbox Live freebies and a 360 version of World Of Tanks, Microsoft has revealed.

Existing Xbox Live Gold account holders will now get two free games per month, starting with Assassin’s Creed II and Halo 3, the platform holder confirmed at its E3 press briefing.

Microsoft’s Yusuf Medhi also promised ‘hundreds’ of new 360 games coming in the next year, in particular a new console version of Wargaming’s World Of Tanks. There was also news of a new title from Press Play, Max the Curse of Brotherhood, and new footage from Dark Souls II.

The new Xbox 360 model was announced as ‘available now’ – we’ll update the story once we get official details and images.
