From rumour to live-action introductory trailer and some gameplay demonstrations, the latest iteration in the Twisted Metal series blazed a trail through Sony's presentation.
It looks set to revive the core gameplay of the series, focussing on deathmatch alongside new modes like the previewed "Nuke", a faction battle that encourages competition and, of course, brutality.
The game's due for release on PS3 next year.
