EA Bags Bourne License

EA has announced that it has struck a deal with‭ ‬Jason Bourne‭ ‬IP owner‭ ‬Ludlum Entertainment.‭ ‬The publisher will now release a Jason Bourne title currently in development at Swedish studio Starbreeze.‭

Starbreeze is currently working on‭ ‬The Chronicles of Riddick:‭ ‬Assault on Dark Athena and it's been known for some time to have a second project (codenamed Project RedLime) in the works.‭ Edge understands that the upcoming Bourne title is in fact not the RedLime project, which is in development by a separate team at Starbreeze.

Starbreeze’s publishing deal with Activision on the new Riddick title fell through after the publisher made divestments following its merger with Vivendi.‭

It does seem a bit odd that a spy game would be for casual gamers. Does the world really need a video game version of hide and seek?

Call me cynical, but several parts of that sentence just do not sound good to me.
