Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello has outlined release timeframes for a number of the publisher’s major titles.
In the next fiscal year - between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011 – the company will release "a great new version of Medal Of Honor, a revitalised Need For Speed, Sims on console, FIFA in a World Cup year, an innovative and new take on Madden, Dead Space 2, Crysis [2]... an MMA game, and many others," the executive said in an earnings call.
Ricciteillo also said that EA plans to launch a "major MMO" in spring 2011, most likely referring to Star Wars: The Old Republic, according to ShackNews.
