EA will be distributing a series of games based on Jordan's books, including an MMO. Other standalone games in the Wheel of Time series will hit consoles, PC, handhelds and mobiles.
EA Partners general manager David DeMartini said in a statement that his company intends to give the Wheel of Time games a "blockbuster launch on the global stage."
L.A.-based publisher Red Eagle Games launched in November 2008 as a subsidiary of Red Eagle Entertainment.
Jordan, whose real name was James Oliver Rigney, Jr., passed away in September 2007 of a heart condition. His books have sold 44 million copies worldwide.
EA Partners also has distribution deals with companies including id Software, Grasshopper Manufacture, Double Fine, Epic Games and Harmonix.
