EA has announced that John Pleasants, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, will be presenting at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference.
The event, held on Feb 26 in San Francisco, will be engaged by a host luminaries across different industries, with businesses such as Google, Verigy and SanDisk taking part.
EA has issued a statement suggesting it “may disclose material developments affecting its business and/or financial performance” during the event, though has stopped short of specifying what areas will be discussed.
What a bizarre comment. I'm glad for you that you work for a publicly listed company, Mark. You clearly are.
The statement and article are still accurate. If you had paid any interest to the sort of news which has 'slipped out' at other recent EA presentations, (such as the confirmation of games in progress which developers themselves have refused to acknowledge), you may have been a little nicer with your comment.
Wow, what an insightful piece of industry news.
As someone who works at a publicly listed company just like EA, you know that this is something said in pretty much every single announcement like this, righ? It's a disclaimer, dummy. EA, Activison - they all say it when presenting at these kind of conferences.
Well done, you get their investor alerts - now do some proper journalism. Edge has sunk to a new low these days.
