That's... Not the best of sources. The front page of Origin doesn't mention anything about either game being exclusive to Origin. :/

It certainly says that the Complete Collection of Alice: Madness Returns™, is only available on Origin, until June 17th.

Huh... Not on the front page, but on the product description it says that, yes. :)

I do wonder if their Terms and Conditions are valid under UK law.

"If you have not used your Entitlements or Account for twenty four (24) months or more and your Account has associated Entitlements, your Entitlements will expire and your Account may be cancelled for non-use. Once you have redeemed your Entitlements, that content is not returnable, exchangeable, or refundable for other Entitlements or for cash, or other goods or services."

That's the equivalent of having HMV staff come round your house and take your Gears of War disc back, simply because you haven't played it in 2 years.

That's a service for unwanted games, surely? I'd love the shops to come to me to return games I haven't played. :-)

Not if you don't get anything for it. It's ridiculous. Digital distribution has a lot going for it, but I fear it's being abused to unfairly, and in many cases unlawfully restrict use and user control. Steam is bad enough, Origin sounds even worse!
