Eden Makes Test Drive DLC Free

Eden Games, developer of Test Drive Unlimited 2, has announced that the title’s upcoming DLC will be given away for free by way of apology for the technical issues that have dogged the game since its release two weeks ago.

“Thank you for your continued support and feedback,” the developer writes on the Test Drive Unlimited 2 forum. “Our community has been amazing and helped us quickly identify a number of issues, which we have made significant progress in addressing in the announced patches.

“We really appreciate your patience in this matter and we would like to announce that we will be making the first premium DLC for the game free for everybody as a way of saying thank you.”

The developer says it is hard at work on a patch to address the numerous problems players have experienced with the game, including network stability, corrupted save games, empty friends lists, invites not working and numerous bugs affecting the game both on and offline.

Fixes for the various issues have already gone live for the PC version, and patches are awaiting approval from Microsoft and Sony before release for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
