Subscribers to Edge received a special gift with their copies of E203: a poster of a city rendered in pixels by long time Edge collaborator, illustrator Gary Lucken. Bursting with references to a raft of videogames, from Syndicate to Sonic, Doom to Dead Rising, it's a gift that's sure to keep giving for years to come.

Take a look at the whole thing here. And you can subscribe to Edge by clicking here.

Any plans to put this poster for sale on the Edge store? I love the copy that came with my subscription, but the creases from the folds are a bit annoying and are the only thing stopping me from framing it and putting it up in my living room. I'd love a rolled copy on decent stock. Am I asking too much?

I'd love to subscribe as well, as I did when Next Generation was still being published here in the US. I got stuck with some PS mag, I believe, for the remainder of my sub when Next-Gen US folded. The foreign sub prices are still way out of line -- just email the issues to your regional subsidiaries in digital format and have them printed locally (why has no publisher figured this out yet?)

I'd love a high-res version as my wallpaper :)

The best inclusion from my childhood, or at least early adulthood, was Ginjiro from Guardian Heroes.

Aaaand.... a high-res version? Please. I'm kind of begging.

Totally awesome issue, 203. My only complaint is that there isn't a single gameplay image in the FIFA 10 feature. Edge directors should try to educate their graphic staff better, as they're working for a videogame mag, not just doing pretty designs or advertisment campaigns. This is a problem with Electronic Arts, too, as they tend to be so reluctant to provide gameplay screenshots for their games.

It's on my wall!

It took me so long to find Half-Life 2... then I told my Housemates to look for it and they also took ages. Needless to say, we all felt silly once it got pointed out to us by the last person to find it. This poster is amazing :)

Give this away with the magazine, PLEASE!
I live in Japan where I pay a premium to get Edge from a retailer that imports magazines as you don't offer subscriptions here.
How about a bit of goodwill to those readers who aren't subscribers but nevertheless pay their money each month?

That is simply too cool, but why should we non-subscribers not get one? I buy Edge every month and pay a premium for it unlike the subscribers. Boooo!

I'm seeing Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Advance Wars, Metal Gear, Lara Croft, Pokemon, and Sonic out of these three pics. And I'd subscribe if it was affordable in the US too, but as of now I'm stuck just going to Borders once a week and reading all the game mags.

Holy crap, this poster rocks.

PLEASE upload a high-res version. I'd subscribe if I didn't live in the US and have it cost a boat-load, I swear.
