ELSPA Appoints New Director General

Former managing director Michael Rawlinson replaces Paul Jackson.

The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association? (?ELSPA?) ?has appointed Michael Rawlinson as director general.

Rawlinson will replace former director general Paul Jackson,? ?who steps down from the position though will still be at ELSPA working in an advisory capacity.

Rawlinson has worked with ELSPA for a decade and had attained the position of managing director.? ?He is also on the executive board of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety as a representative of the games industry.

?"?We greatly thank Paul for his dedication and commitment over the past two and a half years,? ?establishing ELSPA as a key conduit between the video games industry and the UK Government,?" ?says ELSPA chairman Andy Payne.?

"Whilst we are losing Paul on an operational basis,? ?we are fortunate that he will continue to support ELSPA in his new role.? ?Michael has excelled under Paul's leadership and is now absolutely ready to take the role as director general and lead ELSPA into the future.?"
