ESA's Newest Member

Two Worlds publisher SouthPeak Interactive is the first new member of the videogame trade group in 2009.

The Entertainment Software Association said Wednesday that Virginia-based SouthPeak Interactive has joined the games industry trade group, becoming the first new member of 2009.

SouthPeak is the publisher behind the 2007 RPG Two Worlds (pictured), as well as the My Baby series, Velvet Assassin and Ninjatown.

The company joins other ESA members such as Microsoft, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Nintendo of America, Capcom, Eidos, EA, Epic Games, Square-Enix THQ, Ubisoft and others. The ESA lists 21 members on its website.

SouthPeak VP of marketing Richard Iggo said in a statement, “Our industry needs a strong and active trade organization and we are pleased to support that effort."
