Wow....
What a line up...
I
just
can't be bothered wait....
I mean, Modracers, Reality Fighters, EVERYBODYS GOLF!
It's all the internet has been talking about.
Or, at least it is inside of Sony's marketing departments head!

Seriously, aside from Wipeout, which seems to do better on portable consoles, why would one spend all that money?

Unless you're a monocle wearing early adopter I think most will wait a while to see if the machine gets a 3DS stylie price drop...
After the rather muck launch in Japan you never know.

Decent line up but next to nothing that is not better or that I would not rather play on my exisiting PS3

I agree with both of the above comments; there are console equivalents to four of the seven games. Unit 13 looks interesting (even though it isn't my kind of game), and the other two are "showroom" software. These games don't encourage me purchase Vita.

Honestly, the whole thing screams more powerful PSP with some DS features. The design, the console to handheld "ports", the compulsory requirement to purchase a memory card.

In my opinion, the whole package is too expensive and offers too little at the moment, in terms of content and original features..

So let me get this straight the console retails at £230, it's cheapest memory card is £18 and a rehashed home console game costs £45?

It's nice to see that they've learnt from their mistakes with the PSP.

Seriously you would have to be insane to purchase this within the first 6 months. If ever a console had price cut written all over it then it is this one.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. This has 3DS written all over it. But then what's you get for launching a new handheld during a recession.

If Sony hang on for 3-6 months before a price drop that puts it uncomfortably close to the next proper iPhone, iPad, 3DS done right and maybe even PS4 and NextBox announcements. Tricky.
