Following the demise of Hellgate: London developer Flagship Studios, former business development and legal executive Steve Goldstein has returned to law, with an emphasis on the games industry.
L.A.-based Stubbs Alderton & Markiles LLP announced on Wednesday the hiring of Goldstein, who is returning to the firm after a three-year run with Flagship.
The law firm said Goldstein will join its Interactive Media Practice Group and will help expand its videogame-related clientele.
Goldstein left the law firm in 2005 to join Flagship, a studio that shuttered last year.
Managing partner Scott Alderton said in a statement, "Steve was a valuable asset to our firm prior to joining the Flagship Studios management team, and the extensive game expertise and experience he developed working with Flagship, plus his deep relationships in the videogame industry, make him the perfect addition to our Interactive Media Practice Group."
