Ex-Sucker Punch staffers Matthew Scott and Dev Madan, along with former Vivendi Games creative director Ricci Rukavina, have officially announced the formation of Loose Cannon Studios.
Scott and Madan serve as technical and creative directors respectively, while Rukavina is studio president, reports Cinema Blend.
“People have gathered from top studios to create a small, tight-knit crew with well over a century of industry experience,” the developer said on its website.
“We draw on our experience shipping bestselling and critically acclaimed titles such as: Sly Cooper, Spyro The Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Halo, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Dungeon Siege, No One Lives Forever, and many more.”
The studio, which was actually founded in 2005, is “currently in the final throws” of creating its first title, an original IP set to be unveiled at E3 and released this autumn on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
