Bethesda has confirmed plans to bring Fallout 3 DLC packs Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel - currently available only on PC and Xbox 360 – to PlayStation 3.

Operation: Anchorage will hit the PlayStation Network in June and be followed by the latter two packs "4-6 weeks apart."

In addition, the company confirmed it’s working on two new Fallout 3 DLC packs to be released this summer on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Point Lookout will feature a "massive new swampland area" with new quests and content, while Mothership Zeta will see players "experience an alien abduction first hand.”

The first will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80/$9.99), with Mothership Zeta arriving a month later for the same price. Both new packs will arrive on PS3 "after the first three DLCs have been released."

Finally, new disc-based Fallout 3 packs will be made available at retail later this year, including two "add-on" boxes for PC and Xbox 360, and a Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition with all five add-ons for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Thank @#$&... With this and the GTA IV DLC I was pretty bloody angry. Now I'm almost content. Fallout 3 is one of the best RPGs I've played and knowing I will have the additional DLC on my PS3 is great, seriously this news has made my day.

I just love this game :) it was my all time best game for the xbox in my opinion. I have always thought that it would be great to have a MMO fallout 3 of some kind. 3 or 4 teams of 10 people fighting to capture a small city in the middle of the map at the same time as defending their teams base. i would love Fallout 3 to have this game type !

Great idea.

Does anyone knows how many quests fallout 3 has? With all 3 DLC's (O:A, Pitt and BS) I have done 44 quests and my level cap is 26.

June is ~ 6 months after anchorage was released on 360 (about january?), correct?

I mention it, because there have been lots of rumours on other games sites about M$ having 6 month exclusivity contracts on the Fallout and GTA IV DLCs.

I'm just speculating of course, but maybe we will still see L&D on PS3 in august?

Yussssss, I've been boycotting this game for so long now I was about to break. It's so good they're bringing the DLC to PS3 so I don't feel like a douche forking out for a gimped game.
Thankyou Bethesda :-)

ah thank god. I cant wait for this Sh*t.

Bahaha... my brother just forked out for the 360 version as well because he was sick of not having the DLC on his PS3 version.

Excited about new DLC but, uh.... an alien abduction?

Did PS3 users ever get that end-game patch? Or are they still not willing to patch that bug?

Broken Steel is the DLC that changes the ending, lets you keep playing. Is that what you mean?

That is what I mean. Didn't know if it was hidden in the DLC or not. Thanks!

Awesome news! Now I'll feel better about recommending this title to my PS3-only homies.

I have all three released DLCs for 360 and will almost certainly buy the other two.

No talk of raising the level cap again?

I've been waiting for both all three developments discussed. I haven't purchased Fallout 3 because I was waiting on the Game of the Year edition. I can't wait to jump into Fallout 3 for real. I wonder if Bethesda will make it all fit on one DVD9?

Mothership Zeta sounds awesome. I've been waiting to jump into Fallout 3 for some time and while Broken Steel pushed it over the top, Mothership is simply icing on the cake.

At any rate, the most exciting announcement here is the equal treatment for the PS3. It's good to know that Bethesda always had that in mind. The PS3 is a good platform and deserves all the extra Fallout 3 love. Good on ya Bethesda! Just make sure your next game doesn't have any exclusivity associated with it. Period.

You'll like Fallout 3, it's an amazing game! Huge world to travel and explore in. It's just so much fun! Right now I play it on the PC and I named my guy Jesus Christ (bringing love and peace through a barrel of a shotgun). He's the Messiah I always wanted!
