Fallout 3, the happy-to-be-hyper-violent mature-themed RPG from Bethesda Softworks, will hit retail shelves on October 28 and 31 in North America and Europe, respectively.
Bethesda confirmed Wednesday a simultaneous release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
“To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year," said Bethesda president Vlatko Andonov in a statement.
The post-nuclear RPG is truly one of the most anticipated titles of the year, and hopes are high from a quality and sales standpoint, considering Bethesda is the studio behind the acclaimed 2006 RPG, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
In August, Game Critics, a group comprised of critics from various gaming outlets, dubbed Fallout 3 "Best of Show" at E3, topping Gears of War 2, LittleBigPlanet, Mirror's Edge and Spore.
Man I can't wait for this game!!!!!
