At the Microsoft E3 press conference Monday, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada unveiled that Final Fantasy XIII will forgo PS3 exclusivity and also appear on Xbox 360.
The announcement came at the end of the Microsoft press conference and was accompanied by a video package for the title.
"Releasing an Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will allow us to provide the game to even more fans in the two regions of North America and Europe," said Wada. "We are currently working hard on these two versions".
In addition, Wada also announced several release dates for other products in the Square-Enix portfolio that will be appearing on Xbox 360. Infinite Undiscovery will launch on September 2, Star Ocean: The Last Hope in early 2009, and The Last Remnant on November 20th worldwide.
