LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed dominated the Australian all formats software chart during the week ended September 21, taking four of the top ten places.

The Xbox 360 version of the game debuted at No1, followed by the PS3 version at No2, the Wii version at No5 and the PS2 version at No8.

The Force Unleashed has enjoyed a highly successful opening week, shifting over 1.5 million units according to its publisher, making it the fastest selling Star Wars game ever. Earlier this week it topped the UK chart and made a big impression on the Amazon.com bestseller list too.

The previous week’s chart-topper Wii Fit could only manage third place in the latest top ten, while Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning was a new entry at No4.

Wii Play fell four places to No6, Mario Kart Wii three spots to No7, Spore six to No9 and Wall-E four to No10.
