Jennifer A. Manner will serve as SVP for government affairs, leading the ESA's state and federal government relations team, working with elected officials and regulatory agencies on behalf of the games industry.
Manner was most recently VP of regulatory affairs at Skyterra Communications, and prior to that was senior counsel at the Federal Communications Commission.
Described by the ESA as a "long-time Democrat with expertise in working with both parties," she began her work with the group this month.
Manner replaces Ed Desmond, who left late last summer to join the Toy Industry Association, an ESA rep told Edge.
