FOX Engine set for reveal at GDC 2013
Hideo Kojima and his staff at Kojima Productions will show the FOX Engine for the first time at GDC 2013 in a presentation entitled ‘Photorealism Through the Eyes of a FOX: The Core of Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes’
The session will aim to “explain the workflow and development process of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes on the Fox Engine” and reveal the “unique methods” the studio is utilising to develop the game’s visuals. GDC 2013 attendees can also expect an overview of the process behind asset creation and the rendering techniques used in the next Metal Gear Solid title.
Kojima will be joined on stage at GDC 2013 by art director Hideki Sasaki, lighting artist Masayuki Suzuki and technical director Junji Tago, who is the lead for the development of the Fox Engine.
