Free Realms now on European PSN
Free Realms is now available on the European PlayStation Network, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has announced.
The family-friendly, free-to-play MMOG was released in 2009 for PC and last year for Mac, and has been available on the US PlayStation Store since March. It is the second SOE MMOG to hit PSN, following the release of DC Universe Online in January.
SOE president John Smedley said: "SOE has set the standard for MMOGs on the console with two incredibly successful, innvative and exciting new game worlds. Our games extend the current lifecycle of the console with the added value offer of bringing tens of thousands of people together, in a game world, to socialise at community events, compete in combat activities and engage in a diversity of gameplay experiences."
On PS3, Free Realms supports voice chat and trophies, and is free to play until level 20, after which a subscription fee is required. For more, visit freerealms.com.
