Beleaguered UK retailer Game Group has cancelled all Special Edition pre-orders of Wii RPG The Last Story.
In an email to customers who had pre-ordered the Special Edition of the Mistwalker RPG, which will be released on Friday, Game confirms: "Unfortunately, this product is no longer being stocked and we will therefore be unable to fulfil your order, which has been cancelled.
"Please accept our apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience this may have caused."
The Special Edition is no longer listed on Game's website, though the standard edition of the game is still available.
It appears The Last Story is the latest victim of the loss of Game's credit insurance, first reported earlier this month, which has left the nation's biggest retailer struggling to source new stock.
Last week it emerged Game would not be selling the Nintendo-published 3DS fighter Tekken 3D Prime Edition. Yesterday it admitted it would not be stocking Ubisoft's PS Vita launch titles, including Lumines: Electronic Symphony and Rayman Origins.

And Game's collapse becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Feel bad for the staff, but it's a stupid company that over-extends horrendously and doesn't speed up their already-announced closures in a bid to cut overheads.
