Game Group has today held company-wide meetings regarding staff rotas and shift patterns as part of an ongoing operations review process.
“We continually review the sales patterns across our entire store portfolio to make sure that we have the right number of people in place to serve customers throughout the day,” the retailer told us in a statement.
“Today we have held meetings with the teams in our stores to discuss ways that each store can better serve the customers in their local area, including a review of staff rotas and shift patterns. We are very focused on supporting our teams, and thank them for their continued hard work and understanding.”
The news comes less than a week after we revealed that the company is to close 43 UK-based Game and Gamestation sites, affecting 247 employees.
