Organisers of Games For Brands have announced the list of speakers ahead of the inaugural conference in London later this month.
The festival, which will look at the seemingly ever-increasing ways in which games and marketing overlap, will be opened by Tom Chatfield, author of Fun, Inc: Why Games Are The 21st Century's Most Serious Business. His keynote address will, organisers say, "explore games as a cultural and media phenomenon and explain why it is that games become so massively significant in today's media landscape."
Other speakers include: Ville Heijari, VP of franchise development at Angry Birds developer Rovio; Nicholas Lovell from Gamesbrief; Richard Bartle, co-creator of MUD and author of Designing Virtual Worlds; and Dr Jo Twist, commissioning editor for education at Channel 4.
Games For Brands takes place on October 27 at One America Square in Shoreditch, London, and Edge readers can get £100 off the price using the code edge100. For more, follow the source link below.
