Game Developers Conference Canada organiser Think Services has issued a call for lecture submissions for next year’s event.
Taking place at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia from May 6-7, 2010, the second edition of the industry focused event will feature insights on new distribution models, managing established franchises and developing global titles.
Industry professionals hoping to present content for lectures, roundtables and panel sessions can now do so until January 5, 2010. The conference tracks include business/production, digital distribution, game design, iPhone games, programming, social and casual games, and visual arts.
“GDC Canada provides the perfect opportunity for game development teams to share knowledge for developing established franchises and guidance on taking advantage of new game distribution models,” said event director Izora de Lillard. “GDC Canada really benefits from the incredibly talented community here, and we can’t wait to see what useful and insightful content they bring with them when GDC returns to Canada in early May.”
