Sweden-based developer Grin is rumoured to have laid off between 100 and 160 staff.
Kotaku says it has been informed by numerous sources that the company behind Bionic Commando and Terminator: Salvation is in the process of closing its Gothenburg and Barcelona offices and reducing the headcount at its Stockholm headquarters.
The Wanted: Weapons of Fate developer has over 130 staff members at its HQ and employs a total of 250 creative individuals across its offices. It also has a quality assurance studio in Indonesia.
Edge has contacted Grin for comment.
And now it's reality. :(
GL ppl.
"garbage in, garbage out" is the saying, i believe.
Publisher for Terminator: Evolved Games (?)
Publisher for Wanted: Warner Brothers
Publisher for Bionic Commando: Capcom
Even before that, they hopped from publisher to publisher. Maybe it is a bit too hard picking up follow up projects while dancing with three publishers at once. Especially when the Indonesians did not exactly "assure the quality" on two of the three titles.
