Rockstar Games will release Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and music title Beaterator for iPhone and iPod touch this fall.

Chinatown Wars is the latest entry in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, having released to critical acclaim for Nintendo’s DS back in March. The Rockstar Leeds developed title is also set to release for PSP this fall.

Also developed at Rockstar Leeds, Beaterator is a rhythm-based game created in conjunction with hip-hop producer Timbaland that was first announced for PSP in March.

"Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, who added that "the simple, pick-up-and-play nature of Beaterator lends itself so well to the Apple platforms."
