"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."
The game will also feature "newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC", according to the press release.
Following its late-April release for PS3 and Xbox 360 GTA IV broke the all-time entertainment product records for day one and week one sales by dollar value. The game generated $310 million globally in opening day sales and in excess of $500 million worldwide in first week sales.
