A firmer date for Half-Life 2: Episode Two has been released, alongside news of a third and final episode.
Valve has revealed further details of the future of Half-Life 2 episodic content. The developer has announced that the second expansion to the popular first-person shooter will be released at the end of 2006 with a third and final part completing the trilogy by Christmas of 2007.
Half-Life 2: Episode One has just gone gold and will ship on Thursday June 1. The game will be available via Valve’s Steam online distribution service for $19.99 and in boxed retail form courtesy of Electronic Arts.
No details of the content of the third episode have been released as yet.
