Microsoft's wasting no time in bolstering its future Halo prospects, a new job ad indicates.
Microsoft said its recently-found Halo Studio is currently seeking a program manager to work with an engineering team "to help define the next generation of gaming software technology."
The program manager Microsoft is looking for must have a strong technical background.
From the ad: "As part of a next generation team, you'll be instrumental in helping to lead the development of the engine that will power future experiences for the next generation of gaming platforms."
Last year saw Halo creators Bungie depart from former parent Microsoft, although the Windows-maker still holds onto the Halo IP and continues to work closely with Bungie.
Microsoft's announced plans for the Halo franchise include the upcoming Halo Wars from the soon-to-be defunct Ensemble Studios and another project developed in collaboration with Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson.
