Sony’s PSP and Nintendo’s DS continue to dominate system sales in Japan.
Sony’s portable notched up almost 9,000 more sales than Nintendo’s DS during the week ended July 6, while the Wii was 3,000 sales behind its handheld sibling.
Sony’s PS3 remained in fourth spot on the hardware chart despite a decrease of 3,500 sales, to 14,359, and a 4,000 unit increase in PS2 sales, to 11,768.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 shifted just shy of 5,000 units.
