Rockstar Games has a new head of marketing with the appointment of Alex Moullé-Berteaux, who was responsible for the worldwide marketing campaign of top Apple products such as the iPod.

Moullé-Berteaux’s hiring is effective immediately, and comes less than two months after the departure of Rockstar co-founder Terry Donovan, who dealt mainly with publishing and marketing duties at the Grand Theft Auto developer.

Moullé-Berteaux was most recently worldwide group account director for the Apple account at TBWA/Media Arts lab in Los Angeles. There, he led the campaigns for Mac, iPod, iTunes and iPhone.

"The creative, marketing, and branding experience Alex brings, as well as his background in the technology and entertainment industries, will help us realize our mission to propel the compelling games we create to the center of the entertainment industry,” said Rockstar founder and executive producer Sam Houser in a statement.
