UK broadcaster ITV has apologised following the revelation that it had used footage from a fan-made Arma 2 video in a documentary about links between former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and the IRA.
"The events featured in Exposure: Gaddafi And The Ira were genuine but it would appear that during the editing process the correct clip of the 1988 incident was not selected and other footage was mistakenly included in the film by producers," the broadcaster said in a statement to Eurogamer.
"This was an unfortunate case of human error for which we apologise."

2Mistake my arse. As a professional video editor I can safely say that any editor worth his salt wouldn't put that clip in by accident. Apart from the title which was added meaning that the clip would have been viewed in the timeline, they would have had to have ripped the clip from Youtube at some point. This then begs the question why was it imported into the same project bin as this doco if it wasn't intended to be used?
Take it as a compliment. Your game looks so lifelike it's being mistaken for video-footage.
