Total hardware sales rose marginally in Japan during the week ended June 21.

Unit sales increased from 109,148 to 114,128, but remain slow compared to the first week of the month, when all consoles sold 144, 521 units, largely driven by the DSi’s popularity.

During the week ended June 21 every platform bar Xbox 360 recorded a small sales increase. Each console retained its place in the rankings, with Nintendo products once again leading the way, according to data from Media Create.

DSi – 40,464
PSP – 27,884
Wii – 19,386
PS3 – 10,359
Xbox 360 – 6,734
DS Lite – 5,531
