Koch Media and its publishing label Deep Silver has welcomed Volition and the Saints Row and Metro IP to the company in a statement this morning.
Koch bought Volition and the Saints Row IP for $23m and acquired the Metro IP for $5.8m as part of the THQ bankruptcy sale.
“Both the Saints Row and the Metro franchises perfectly fit into our future lineup and strategy, said Deep Silver’s international commercial director Menno van der Bil. “We’re really excited to lead these well-respected licenses into a bright new future. We also welcome the legendary development studio Volition to the Koch Media/Deep Silver group.”
