Take-Two revealed Thursday new sales figures for two of its hit properties, Grand Theft Auto IV and BioShock.

The firm said that as of May 31, it has sold 11 million GTA IV units to retailers and around 8.5 million units to consumers.

The game released on April 29 for Xbox 360 and PS3, selling 6 million units globally in its first week, generating over $500 million at retail.

Take-Two also said that BioShock, launched in late August 2007 on Xbox 360 and PC, has shipped over 2.2 million. The publisher is at work on a version for PS3, due this year, as well as a sequel. A BioShock movie by Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski is also under development.
