While the DS and Wii continue to dominate Japanese hardware sales, the latest figures from Media Create show that all Sony platforms have enjoyed a relatively healthy week.
The DS and Wii may still be way out in front of the chasing pack, but sales of Sony’s handheld and its PS2 and PS3 consoles are all up on the past two week’s totals, mirroring the success of Sony platform software in the latest Japanese games chart.
PSP sales were up by 5,000, PS2 by 4,000, and the PS3 exceeded the 10,000 sales mark.
Hardware sales for the week ending July 1:
