Lego Batman: The Videogame has sold over one million copies in the UK, publisher Warner has announced.
Developed by TT Games, the title was released for all current generation formats and PC in October 2008 yet it still makes regular appearances on the weekly all formats chart, this week appearing at 16.
It was also the 15th bestselling console title in the UK last year, according to Chart-Track figures, and it generated plenty of buzz on the Edge Games Index in the run-up to Christmas.
“Selling one million units of Lego Batman: The Videogame in the UK marks a great milestone for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment,” said Spencer Crossley, UK sales and marketing director for the division. “The fact that the title continues to remain on the best-selling charts more than a year after its release is a testament to the best-in-class gameplay TT Games continues to deliver.”
TT Games is due to release Lego Harry Potter later this year.
