After a fierce battle last week, sales of Lego Indy and MGS4 fell 29 percent and 59 percent respectively, seeing the latter drop one place to second on the UK All Formats chart.
Atari’s multiplatform title Alone in the Dark debuted at No3. Although it notched up less than half of the sales of PS3 exclusive MGS4, the survival horror game managed to push Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV down one place to No4, while Wii Play jumped two spots to No5.
Mario & Sonic, Brain Training and Race Driver: Grid all fell two places to sixth, seventh and eighth respectively, while Activision’s Guitar Hero III moved up from No13 to No9 and Square Enix’s PSP exclusive Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII debuted at No10. Square’s RPG accounted for 54 percent of all full price PSP games sold during the week.
Two further new entries made the All Formats Top 40 – Take-Two’s Top Spin 3 entering at No12 and Nintendo’s Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide what to Eat at No19.
