Acclaimed Japanese development studio Level-5 has opened up a new office in Tokyo that will focus on its overseas business.
The studio has created several hit titles including Professor Layton and Dragon Quest VIII and is currently working on White Knight Chronicles for release on PlayStation 3 later this year.
Siliconera reports that the new office will concentrate on “mobile projects such as ROID, new enterprises, and overseas business”, which the site speculates could mean Level- 5 is gearing up to distribute its intellectual properties around the world.
The developer is also working on soccer role-playing game, Inazuma Eleven, for which a publisher has yet to be named.
