Lich King Tops US PC Chart

World of Warcraft expansion spends a third consecutive week at the chart summit.

Activision Blizzard’s World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King has topped boxed US PC game sales for the third consecutive week, according to the NPD Group.

EA’s The Sims 2 Double Deluxe was a non-mover in second place during the week ended April 25, while World Of Warcraft: Battle Chest jumped four spots to third.

Left 4 Dead was up two places to fourth following the release of the Survival Pack DLC on April 21, which helped drive an instant boost in the game's concurrent player numbers, according to Valve’s Doug Lombardi.

March’s bestselling title, Empire: Total War, remained in fifth.
