Awarded during last night's event, which aimed to "celebrate excellence in the art forms of the moving image for children - from film and television to video games and websites," the award is just one of many the Media Molecule-developed game has received in the year since its release. They include another BAFTA, four Game Developer Choice, five Develop awards and the Edge Interactive Innovation Award.
LittleBigPlanet has also enjoyed its Leerdammer patch today, which updates the game with new features including the ability to create levels with other players online.

Big And Small Online, winner of the Interactive category
Also awarded last night in the Interactive category was developer Plug-in Media's Big and Small Online for the BBC's CBeebies website, a game made in Papervision3D for Flash. Runners-up in the category were Atticmedia's The Legula Adventure and Channel 4's 1066, developed by Preloaded, and Routes, developed by Oil Productions.
