Loot Drop, the social gaming studio founded by Doom creator John Romero and his wife-to-be Brenda Brathwaite, has been revealed as the developer of Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Commander.
A post on the studio's website confirms that Loot Drop is working on Commander, a turn-based social game for iOS and Facebook that will store save files in the cloud, allowing players to switch seamlessly between devices without losing progress. The game will somehow tie in to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as PC and Wii U title Ghost Recon Online.
In November, Ubisoft confirmed that it had tasked Loot Drop with development of a social game. This will be the developer's first Facebook game since Romero and Brathwaite founded the studio last year.
