McNamara: Rockstar keen on MotionScan in GTA

Speaking in the latest issue of PSM3 - passed on by CVG - the Team Bondi head claims that Rockstar is "looking at" using MotionScan, the ground-breaking facial animation tech used in LA Noire, in the next iteration of Grand Theft Auto. "I think they're looking at it for every game," he said. "Grand Theft Auto is huge, so you've got all the problems of how big the cast would be and how many lines would you have to record and all that stuff. They're more than welcome to use MotionScan… Rockstar will make those decisions. They generally make the right decisions."

Really not sure if this is a good idea. I might start feeling guilty about randomly shooting people or blowing up their cars, and that just wouldn't be GTA.

Not gonna happen, R* are very much not friends with Bondi.

" NOT GONNA HAPPEN" Seeing as R* published the team bondi game. And that team went through shit tonnes of people due to heavy workload. Which will mean, GTA5 will be a struggle to make, but it will be a great game. This is a logical idea as i don't think anyone wants to play a rehashed Grand Theft Auto. There has to be innovation. Rockstar do innovate.
